Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Upcoming Update Will Change The 725 Shotgun Again

Activision is planning another update of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to solve one of the military dispatcher's most controversial weapons. In a tweet, the multi-player co-director, Joe Cecot, said the developer Infinity Ward was considering another change for the 725 rifle, which should improve the effectiveness of the remote weapon.

Specifically, the update will "mask" cases where the 725 is seemingly too effective in its reach, Cecot said. As you can see in the video below, the 725 is still very, very effective remotely, which many have noticed, making the shotgun far too powerful.

The 725 is a two-shot percussion rifle only. This is not a standard shotgun either. The weapon has a cylindrical throttle that keeps the projectile apart. This is what makes the 725 effective at long range, unlike other more conventional rifles.

In another tweetCecot said that Infinity Ward was ensuring that the changes planned for the 725 do not have any impact on the "soul" of the weapon. He also confirmed that Infinity Ward was not just planning to withdraw 725 from the match. "No," he said.

The video below shows the 725 people killing someone at once, on the other side of the map. Cecot said this video shows a "rare" situation where one of the sinks lands. That being said, Cecot added that there is "changes to come," presumably for cases like this.

Modern Warfare was launched at the end of October and immediately generated a turnover of $ 600 million. The game should sell as much as 27 million copies this quarter, while he will bring even more money at the launch of the first Battle Pass in December.

In other news from Call of Duty, the Call of Duty Mobile game breaks records with over 140 million downloads and a $ 50 million business figure in its first month.

Best Buy Black Friday 2019 Doorbusters

First, the big omission: the iPhones. I would be surprised that Best Buy has no late discounts on the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but for now, these are the flagship offers and their availability date:

From Thursday, November 28, 2019

Best Buy may not list offers for iPhone, but its content is of very high quality. The Galaxy and Pixel offers should not be improved this holiday season (with the possible exception of The two-year Galaxy deal with Costco). The Pixel 3a offer is a no-brainer for anyone looking to get one of the best smartphone cameras available at a tantalizing price and Kohl's Cash only you'll get closer to these Xbox One X and Xbox One S savings. & nbsp;

Costco Black Friday 2019: The best live news

My advice would be to look closely at all iPad offers, the Surface Pro 7 bundle is excellent with the Type Cover and Sony XM3 headphones (these are my favorite earphones). The S6 tab is also the best Android tablet right now, and you get great deals on the HP Omen. AirPods discounts are always welcome, but Amazon has them with a rare case AirPods Pro. & nbsp;

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Performance Explored

The launch of the PC on RAGE to Red Dead Redemption 2 is not limited to the engine. The launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC has been leaked at least once a month since the launch of the game on Xbox and Playstation a little over a year ago. Last week, the game was launched with a lot of anticipation on the new Rockstar game launcher and the Epic game store. . Neither one nor the other when too smoothly, to say the least. RDR2 uses the latest version of Rockstar's advanced graphics engine, or RAGE, and has dropped out of DX11 to be able to choose between Vulkan or DX12 for your favorite API. There are more than enough people who have problems that even prevent them from starting the game. Those who can do it are finding not only a graphic treat, but a treat that comes back to Crysis with its ability likewise the strongest systems at their knees. This is one of the most frustrating and time-consuming performance scans I've done for quite some time, thanks to an occasional crash, constant reboots after just changing the resolution, and every baseline run . At the time of publication, I still have not completed 100% and I will update the incomplete sections in the next few days.

Methodology of test

Fortunately, Red Dead Redemption 2 has a built-in reference utility that is fairly representative of the typical gameplay and used to measure our performance. We used the last section of the benchmark which represents a typical 128-second game cycle. We used Frameview to extract the measures from our results rather than relying on the number the game presents to us.

Related, connected, related The new PC mod Red Dead Redemption 2 allows you to play with different characters and create companion NPCs, etc.

Regarding the parameters used for the tests, we had to create our own "preset". The game has a predefined cursor, but it has 20 levels of settings and varies depending on the graphics card used at the time. Thus, a person with a RX 570 would have a combination of settings very different from that with a RTX 2080Ti for example. We went with the settings below in the screenshot, but they represent a "High" setting configuration for the game.

Once we had the results of 3 analyzes, after ignoring an initial burner run for loading purposes, we averaged the average frame frequencies as well as the 99th percentile results of the analysis. We report our performance measures in average frames per second and we moved away from the 1% and 0.1% ratios to use the 99th percentile now. For those who do not know what is the 99th percentile, it's easy to understand that representing only shows that only one in 100 images is slower than that rate. In other words, 99% of the images will reach at least this rate.

Scaling settings

Typically for this section, we would do tests based on game presets, but without the presets tagged in it, we had to create ours. We initially tried to drop some steps of the predefined quality slider, but that's when we found that it would not be a very good way to proceed because the settings were different depending on the maps. We liked that the game prevents you from applying settings if they break the VRAM capacity of your graphics card. That's why you'll see a 0 in one of the RX 570 1080p settings scaling results. Each level of adjustment was long and short by modifying all the values of this title. Off, the option 'down & # 39; was activated and if there was a slider, it was set to the corresponding level. That was the best method I could find for this test in this game.

After playing the game, the game will look and work pretty well with a combination of high-middle settings outside of the textures. So choose the ones you prefer to increase and decrease the effects of others to maintain the target resolution of your graphics cards. It will definitely be a game you will come back to in the future when you improve to see what you missed on the first try.

Related, connected, related Red Dead Redemption 2 Patch 1.14 for PC Provides Fixes for Broken Issues

Scaling of the 4K parameters was performed using the GeForce RTX 2080Ti.

Scaling 1080p settings is exactly the same idea as scaling 4K settings that has just been changed to use a RX 570 to 1080p.

Intel Core processor performance

Although this test does not indicate the number of cores and threads that the game can and should use, it does indicate the performance of the game when you mount in the available cores and threads. These were tested with the 1080p settings, as well as the rest of the results when pairing the processor with the RTX 2080 Ti Founders edition. While this does not take into account the difference in cache that you would see with Intel processors as you progress through their supply stack, it gives us a better idea of how the game benefits and Behaves more and more hearts and threads.

We did some tests on different graphics cards to check the viability of each graphics API. So we used our results to find that Vulkan was always the best API for each supplier. We performed the same test as everyone else with only the change of API and the resolution set to 1080p.

Conclusion

So, how do you summarize Red Dead Redemption 2 on your PC? I guess the only way to do it is to "ask". The game looks great when you can tweak the settings a bit, but you'll want to reserve as much VRAM as possible for the textures and push them as high as possible, as this will be one of the most obvious improvements. Some would call the lack of performance and the cry of lack of optimization, and even if for the moment, this could be a possibility, this is not exactly a dull visual title. There are so many things in each scene that you really have to congratulate the developers for all that they have accomplished here and some scenes are simply breathtaking. The architecture of Radeon manages the game very well, especially its new Navi maps based on RDNA. Cards based on NVIDIAs Turing show a clear dominance over their old Pascal-based cards, which will likely be due to their new graphics pipeline that boasts more performance from the Vulkan API than previously. It will be interesting to see how this game will evolve over time, because GTAV worked pretty well at launch but only improved from there, chances are we can expect a similar story for RDR2 . That done, I will ride and ride up to the next.

Death Stranding Had Stronger Criticism in the US, Possibly Because It Flies Above Shooters

Kojima Productions has finally released the first game since independence from KONAMI. Grounding of death officially launched two days ago on PlayStation 4, with a PC version planned for next summer.

In an interview with the Italian publication Tgcom24 Published the day of its release, Hideo Kojima had the opportunity to discuss the receipt of reviews. While the average score was quite high, there were also low scores, mostly from American publications. Kojima attributes this to their preference for first-person shooter games, while Death Stranding, in his own words, "steals higher".

Related, connected, related Death Stranding will be released on both Steam and Epic Games Store

I must say that the game has received rave reviews, especially in Europe and Japan. Here in the United States, however, we have been more vocal critics. It may be a difficult game to understand for a certain type of criticism and audience. Americans are big fans of first-person shooter games and Death Stranding is not one, it flies higher.

I'm always trying to create new things and the arguments and discussions are going well, but it must be said that Italians or French people have a different artistic sensibility that allows them to appreciate this kind of very original product, not only in video games, but also in video games. cinema.

Indeed, Kojima has described it as a "stranded game" while almost all shooting and action games in general are "stick games". Death Stranding has fights, of course, but it is far from the main activity of the game as the vast majority of other versions.

Regarding the direction Kojima wants to steer in his studio, he mentioned riding the line between independent game productions and triple-A games, mainly because it allowed him to leave his own mark.

It's a bit of a challenge between freelancers and blockbusters, I want to be in the middle and take the positive things of both worlds. It turns out that some very original games are sold maybe only in Japan and come out on a small budget. But when they try to go abroad, to become international products, they lose their souls a little as a result of the gradual disappearance of the imprint of the director of creation. The larger the project, the more the creative face disappears, which is also true for Western games.

If you started playing Death Stranding, what is your opinion up to now? Tell us in the comments.

Right as Pokemon Sword & Shield are about to arrive, Game Freak re-iterates that there are ‘no plans’ to add a full Pokedex

"It's an approach we want to continue with Pokemon games in the future"

In case you hold on: hope, hurried. Speak inside the player, Pokémon The boss Junichi Masuda confirmed again that indeed, it was not planned to add the national Pokedex to the list. Sword and shield.

Although some "maybes" have been rejected since the announcement of the news in June at E3, Game Freak now sticks to their guns and completely eliminates the prospect. Masuda said: "We have not planned to make the missing Pokemon available in the Galar Pokedex video game, and that's an approach we want to continue with Pokemon games in the future. It has been possible to meet all the Pokémon in each game, so people had to transfer it from old games via Pokemon Bank to the new game, for example. "

Masuda explains again that this is a matter of "manpower", in addition to all the new features of Sword and shieldand hope that players will instead accept the grant of the next Pokemon Home app. He said, "We encourage people to use Pokemon Home to collect their old game Pokémon, and from there they may be able to use other games in the future. of your old Pokémon, as you might be able to go out with them in the future. "

This whole situation has been fascinating to watch. After 21 years (in the United States), we have finally reached the point where you can not "collect all", which, in my opinion, is disappointing. But I remember talking about "Dex bloating with others Pokémon players from the third generation (Ruby and Sapphire), where many people thought that the number of creatures was becoming difficult to handle. In fact, I have surprised them all since the first generation and I think the time has come to withdraw from this company. Maybe age is to blame!

That said, we will see how convincing the final phase is. Sword And Shield Early on, because without the national "Dex" component, the life cycle of relevance could be very short.

New iOS 13 features, erase Siri recordings, PDF signatures, and more: Tech Q&A

Find social media accounts

Q: When I interview someone for a position or meet them for the first time, I like to see what they post on social media. You can say a lot about a person this way! Is there anything to find someone's social accounts?

A: From the beginning, social media is a double-edged sword: it's above all a great way to share life-changing events and business information with friends and colleagues. However, it's a minefield of potential blunders and misunderstandings about your life. The best place to start when you are looking to find someone's social media accounts is Facebook. There are tips for tracking someone's account with the help of his or her name or phone number. I have a lot of information on my site. Tap or click here to discover 6 tips for finding people on social networks..

Cool iOS 13 tips

Q: I do not see much difference in the new iOS 13 for my iPhone. Is it more the hype of Apple, or do I miss the boat?

To you always want to update the latest operating system. Yes, it takes time, but you'll thank yourself in the end, even if there are usually some bugs to solve. The reason: each new version of iOS provides important security updates that will help prevent malware, spyware and any other type of software. (Please do not make the mistake of thinking that Apple products are immune). In the meantime, you may also be grateful for this update. the new iOS comes with several new features, many of which are subtle enough to escape the notice. If you know what you are looking for and how to use it, you will find yourself using these new tools again and again. Tap or click here to access 9 new iOS 13 features that you'll use all the time..

My podcast show

Q: I like listening to podcasts when I drive and I do not. Do you have podcasts?

A: I recently saw an article on podcasts, in which the author claimed that our culture had reached the "peak podcast". It could be that the wave of new programs is starting to reseed, leaving only the best in its wake. I have two weekly podcasts. "Komando on Demand" represents about 30 minutes of weekly technology headlines, as well as interviews with people doing incredible things in the industry. Just search for Komando on Apple, Google or wherever, wherever you get your podcasts. "The Kim Komando Show" is my weekly national radio show of three hours, which contains information, tips and calls. It is also available as a podcast, but you can only get it on my website. Tap or click here to watch the Kim Komando Show podcast.

Delete Siri records

Q: I've read on your site how to delete Alexa records, and thanks for that. Can I do the same thing with Siri?

A: Like Amazon before, Apple has frustrated many of its customers with its practice of audio transcription – a method of storing audio files of user commands and their transcription for later use. Siri has not attracted as much headlines as Alexa, but the scandal is surprisingly similar. Most tech companies argue that these records are only used to improve their personal use, which is probably true, but I would not blame anyone for being skeptical. In short, if you do not like the idea that Apple archives your data, you can change a simple parameter. Tap or click here to turn off automatic review transcription on your iPhone.

Sign PDF documents

Q: I often have to sign PDF documents for my company. What is the easiest way to sign a PDF?

A: Get ready because I'm about to save you a lot of time. We live in the era of "electronic signatures", and these days, most people have very little reason to take out the ballpoint pens. I know many people who have signed very important documents (for example, real estate forms) without looking at a single piece of paper, let alone signing and physically scanning it. We owe this luxury to Adobe Reader, the reigning champion of PDF documents. In the past, Reader had mainly done one thing: the PDFs displayed. Now, with the ever-changing technology, you can add text, including your signature, to a digital page. You may prefer a physical copy for the most critical documents, such as deeds and wills, but a digital signature should suffice in most cases.

Tap or click here to watch a short video on how to quickly sign PDFs on your Mac or PC.

90Hz reigns supreme: Google Pixel 4 is the best phone display we’ve tested

Google Pixel 4 XL 9 Top Frame and Speaker

While the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are praised for their impressive camera capabilities, the phones also sport the best screens ever included in an Android smartphone. This feat was initially reported when DisplayMate tested the handsets and we can confirm their superiority with our own internal test suite.

The Pixels 4 and 4 XL offer the best displays for color temperature (neither too cold nor too hot), as well as for color accuracy, which is almost indistinguishable. The phones also offer first-rate gamma correction, beating other high-end handsets as the best choice for movie buffs. Adding a refresh rate of 90 Hz in some scenarios is another selling point for the game and overall fluidity. Although the handset display quality is excellent, even without the addition of 90Hz.

There are some differences between the Pixel 4 and 4 XL models. The color temperature of Pixel 4 is a little closer to perfection. It's also a bit brighter, with 445 nits versus 411 with the biggest Pixel 4 XL. This makes it slightly better for outdoor viewing, but the difference is small. The brightness scores of the display are the only disadvantages of the handset. However, a very high brightness is often achieved only by sacrificing the temperature and accuracy of the color. About 450 nits are enough for everything except direct sunlight.

90Hz OLED displays have an impact

Since their appearance on the scene, the 90Hz screens have had a positive impact on the overall quality of some of the leading smartphone screens. The OnePlus 7T, 90 Hz compatible, was our previous best scorer. The 7T has surpassed the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus in terms of color temperature, accuracy and gamma capabilities. This is not an easy task, given the reputation of Samsung. The Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL go even further, in these three categories too.

90Hz, in itself, is not a particularly heavy reason to buy a smartphone. It is simply much easier to market than other display specifications since 4K and HDR do not make waves in the mobile. Likewise, a number of phones with a 90Hz display do not offer the same high image quality as the OnePlus 7T and Pixel 4 models.

That said, it is becoming increasingly clear that high-end and even mid-level smartphone display technology is out of date. The best OLED screens for phones are getting closer and closer, as the Pixel 4 and 4 XL show. 90Hz displays offer tangible benefits for application and game responsiveness, which enhances screens that go even further. However, I would say that picture quality should always be a priority: 90Hz is a bonus, not the main reason.

Fortunately, Google Pixel 4 and 4XL offer the best of both worlds: the best smartphone screen available with a high refresh rate. That being said, the 90Hz mode is not activated all the time and the battery life of the phone is not excellent. Both factors to consider before making a purchase.

Ninja explains how FaZe Jarvis could get unbanned from Fortnite

Star mixer Tyler & # 39;NinjaBlevins shared some ideas on how FaZe Jarvis could get his Fortnite the ban lifted, and explained why he still thinks the suspension should not be permanent.

On November 3, Jarvis uploaded an emotional video to his YouTube account where he revealed that he had been permanently banned from Fortnite after openly using an aimbot in some of his videos. The severe punishment had a lot in the torn streaming community.

While Ninja initially defended the FaZe clan's streamer, the Mixer star thinks now that he should be punished, but also thinks that the young Fortnite player should also be granted a Redemption Right. could do that.

Instagram: @ninja

The featured Mixer is one of the most popular streamers in the world with more than 2.6 million fans.

Ninja opened the discussion admitting that he had changed his mind about the Jarvis situation. "I've had plenty of time to think about my initial opinion about Jarvis's overall situation, and there absolutely can not be any exception, but I think his age and his status should be taken into account, "he said.

When his broadcast partners claimed that the FaZe clan streamer knew what he was doing, Ninja replied, "Well, but let's hope it's not permanent." Maybe six months, a year. "

The Mixer star then shared an idea of how the young streamer might work things out. "There has to be some sort of punishment other than being banished.Community service, I do not know.Maybe a fine too."

When his friends rejected this idea, Ninja quickly countered and exclaimed, "Are you telling me that if Jarvis gave $ 50,000 to a children's hospital, do you think people would be unhappy with that?"

He continued to put forward the idea of redemption and stated that he was convinced that there could be "creative and positive ideas" used as alternatives to the prohibition people. "You're banned from Fortnite, unless you donate $ 50,000 to a charity – everyone wins!" he finished.

Ninja took the heat for his initial defense of Jarvis

After hearing about the ban on the FaZe clan's streamer, Ninja first argued that the ban on a regular hacker is different than a creator's content, effectively ending their ability to make money. "You forbid this kid, nothing happens. You ban Jarvis, the stakes are different, you have to treat differently, "he said.

However, after receiving a backlash, Mixer's personality said he regretted it on Twitter after responding to a user who had cited his initial defense. "Yes, about 20 minutes later, I realized that I was wrong and regretted to have said. This is not found in the articles or videos of YouTube", a- he tweeted.

Although Ninja's opinion on the whole incident has changed, the Fortnite star still thinks that Jarvis's punishment by Epic Games is too severe and would like to see him redeem himself.

After giving his ideas on how the young streamer might work things out, he said, "He really needs a suspension, whatever happens, obviously do not cheat, talk."

PlayStation Cartridge Patent Registered in Brazil by Sony Interactive Entertainment

A PlayStation cartridge patent was filed this year by Sony Interactive Entertainment with the Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI) in Brazil. spotted by Dutch website LetsGoDigital. Sony used Kasznar Leonardos Local "IP agent" to submit the request.

The design of this PlayStation cartridge was made by Yujin Morisawa, Senior Creative Director at Sony Interactive Entertainment's Corporate Design Center and responsible for all PlayStation branded products. During his 15 years at Sony, Yujin has designed products in various fields – from cosmetics and electronics to robot agents (via iF World Design Guide).

Related, connected, related Boss Shuhei Yoshida, from PlayStation Worldwide Studios, replaced by Guerrilla Games co-founder

Do you have a déjà-vu? If that is the case, it is perfectly normal. Every detail of the PlayStation 5 development kit (which turned out to be real afterwards) appeared in the same way on the Web, with the patent designed by Morisawa, registered at the INPI, then spotted by LetsGoDigital.

Needless to say, this gives a lot of credibility to this rumor. However, the purpose of this PlayStation cartridge is not yet clear. Sony has never used any cartridges for its home consoles yet and the PlayStation 5 has already been officially confirmed as being equipped with a Blu-ray player capable of playing three-layer discs (up to a point where it can be played back). at 100 GB).

On the other hand, Sony used cartridges for its latest PlayStation Vita portable console, released in 2012. Meanwhile, Sony has repeatedly said that it does not have a new handheld console, mainly because of the failure of the PlayStation Vita and the huge increase in mobile gaming via smartphones and tablets.

Of course, they could have changed since then. Nevertheless, we are eager to see where this happens and we will certainly inform you of any further developments regarding this patent.

Google enlists outside help to clean up Android’s malware mess

Ron Amadeo

Android has a malware problem. The flexibility of the open ecosystem also makes it relatively easy for dirty applications to move to third-party app stores or malicious sites. Even worse, the malicious apps sneak in the official Play Store with a disappointing frequency. After struggling with the problem for a decade, Google calls for reinforcements.

This week, Google announced a partnership with three antivirus companies – ESET, Lookout and Zimperium – to create an app defense alliance. All three companies have done extensive research on Android malware over the years and have already established relationships with Google to report detected issues. But now, they will be using their threat analysis and detection tools to evaluate new Google Play submissions before applications go live, in order to catch more malware before it 's time. they are not published on the Play Store.

"In terms of malware, we did not really find a way to adapt to what we wanted," said Dave Kleidermacher, Google's vice president of security and privacy for Android. "What the App Defense Alliance allows us to do, is to take the open ecosystem approach to the next level." We can share information not only punctually, but also truly integrate engines into digital level, so that you can react in real time. " extend the examination of these applications and apply it to make users more protected. "

It's not often that you hear someone at Google, a company of seemingly unlimited size and scope, talking about the difficulties of running a program at the scale you need.

Each alliance antivirus provider offers a different approach for analyzing application files called binary files for red flags. Companies are looking for any kind of Trojans, adware, ransomware, bank malware or even phishing campaigns. The ESET engine uses a cloud-based repository of known malicious binary files, as well as model and other signal analyzes to evaluate applications. Lookout has a treasure trove of 80 million binaries and application telemetry that it uses to extrapolate potential malicious activity. And Zimperium uses a machine learning engine to create a potentially dangerous behavioral profile. As a commercial product, the Zimperium scanner runs on the device itself for analysis and correction, instead of relying on the cloud. For Google, the company will essentially quickly indicate whether applications should be examined individually to detect malware.

Tony Anscombe, ESET's Industry Partners Ambassador, said, "Being part of a project like this with the Android team allows us to start protecting at the source – it's better than trying to clean up thereafter. "

Configuring these systems to analyze new Google Play submissions was not conceptually difficult: everything is done through a specially designed application programming interface. The challenge was to adapt the scanners to ensure that they could support the applications that will be scanned, probably several thousand per day. ESET already integrates Google's malware removal program. Chrome cleaning tooland is associated with Cybersecurity company owned by Alphabet, Chronicle. However, all member companies of the App Defense Alliance said that the process of creating the necessary infrastructure was very long and that the first seeds of the alliance had started there are more than two years.

"Google has restricted the number of vendors it wants to talk to and everyone has put in a pretty elaborate proof of concept to see if there is an added benefit, and if we find more bad things together than we do can do it independently, "said Lookout's CEO. Jim Dolce. "We were sharing data over a period of a month – millions of binaries efficiently – and the results were very positive."

It remains to be seen if the alliance will actually capture many more malicious applications before they reach Google Play than the company itself reports. Independent researchers found that many Android antivirus services are not particularly effective to catch the malware. And all alliance members point out that the increased Google Play defense will only encourage malware writers to be more creative and dynamic in distributing contaminated applications in other ways. (Do not forget that these companies all have malware scanners that they want to sell to you.) But Google's Kleidermacher stresses that the company is confident that the alliance will actually help protect users. d & # 39; Android.

"When you're at the huge scale that we have on these platforms, when you can get an even incremental improvement of 1%, it's important," he says.

More and more companies accessing Google Play submissions also raise the possibility that hackers are looking for vulnerabilities in the Play Store pipeline itself. But Kleidermacher notes that Google has strict contracts with all its suppliers that not only cover the analysis load that they will handle on a day-to-day basis, but also how they will secure the data and use the data. Special API.

"We have an agreement in place and expectations are waiting for us as suppliers," says Jon Paterson, Zimperium's Chief Technology Officer.

While there is no guarantee that the program will solve the problem of Google Play malware, it seems worthwhile to try, since filtering and monitoring applications is a key element. challenge for even the strictest application stores, be it Google, Apple or dedicated government offers. With 2.5 billion Android devices in the world and a problem that it has not solved itself, Google does not have much to lose by asking a little help to his friends.
